Nonprofit organizations are increasingly exposed to risks arising from both external and internal sources. These diverse array of risks that may disrupt operations, hinder mission achievement, and harm their reputations. Such risks frequently impact programs and projects, with potential consequences for financial stability and long-term sustainability.

 

This three-day training-workshop seeks to provide participants with a holistic understanding of the risk management process and the responses the organization should undertake to address those risks.

 

Upon completion, participants shall have enhanced their knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding the adoption of a risk management framework and approach within the organization. As a capstone project, each participating organization shall have prepared a risk register and business continuity plan.
